After more than a year of planning and hard work by a team of passionate volunteers in Quebec and across the country, Transformation 2.0, the 2020 CPRS National Virtual Conference was held this past Thursday and Friday, and by all accounts, was a virtual success!
Over its two-day span, more than 200 practitioners logged on for a dynamic program of keynotes, panels and breakout sessions, each focused on today’s most important issues in the world of PR and communications management.
Plus, delegates also enjoyed a taste of La Belle province thanks to rounds of Quebec City trivia, a mixology lesson courtesy of the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, and plenty of other Québécois accents to infuse the event with the same local flair as our in-person version would have had.
Thanks again to all delegates, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and staff, who helped us transform, and then re-transform, the event from first conception to its final online format.
We can’t wait to see everyone (in person hopefully) at next year’s conference, Cultivate 2021, which will be held in Whistler, B.C. Official dates will be revealed this fall.
Until then, if you missed any of this year’s excitement, look up #transformation20 on social media to see what delegates were talking about.
