Qualifications
§ Undergraduate
degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related experience
§ At
least five (5) years’ experience in all aspects of communications
§ Assertive,
self-starter with good time-management skills
§ Motivated,
self-disciplined, personable and enthusiastic
§ Previous
managerial experience
§ Excellent
written and verbal skills
§ Strong
social media awareness
§ Media-training
and crisis communication experience an asset
§ High
level of integrity in dealing with all stakeholders
§ Have
fun and make a difference!
§ Comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment requiring effective time-management and can
prioritize many tasks with ease
§ Strong
leadership skills as well as the ability to work as a team player
§ Excellent

communication skills; ability to use a broad range of communication techniques
to effectively communicate to varying audiences in a variety of situations
